Alright, i have decided since everyone else is dead or got hit by a speeding truck or something, that i should take thingsinto my own hands. I have learned alot and i consider myself a pretty decent mapper now, but where to start if i dont know what has been started? Know one knows http://www.uplinksource.com/forum/images/smileys/fsb2_larme.gif

In the mean time, i have been attempting to convert the old BSP map files from the demo (extracted using gcfscape on PAK01 in the valve folder of uplink) to vmf files. So far i have gotten a massive colage of brushwork that makes no sense, or NO burshwork and just every (even unsupported) entity! http://www.uplinksource.com/forum/images/smileys/fsb2_devil.gif

Anyone know the propper way to convert old bsp files to the new vmf form? Tell me please @ trampboy_931@hotmail.com

Once that is over our heads we can get a template to work off of. http://www.uplinksource.com/forum/images/smileys/fsb2_godgrace.gif

GOOD LUCK TO WHOEVER IS STILL ALIVE!
